A large black cat plays the blues as if no one is listening —
and at the same time, as if everyone is.
This work is part of the author’s series “Cats Around”,
where each character lives in their own world — slightly ironic, deeply human,
and always familiar in an unexpected way.
There is no perfection here — only mood, improvisation, a sense of ease and freedom.
A club night where time dissolves,
and every sound feels a little bit like your own story.

This painting is about the pleasure of the moment,
about music that needs no explanation,
and about a state you don’t want to leave — at least for one more song.
The series “Cats Around” is my way of speaking about people through the image of a cat —
their habits, weaknesses, moods, and small joys.

In this work, it is about music, the night,
and that special state you want to stay in just a little longer.
