“Heat of the Moonlit Night” 2026
oil on canvas , 90×80 cm
Heat of the Moonlit Night is a figurative painting exploring memory as a quiet inner structure rather than a narrative event. The work contrasts the present sense of cold and instability with an image of a warm summer night, youth, and stillness. The composition focuses on atmosphere and presence, where intimacy is conveyed through restraint and balance rather than explicit action.

Story of creation.
The painting was conceived during the winter months in the studio. Working within a limited, subdued environment, I turned to recollection as a source of visual and emotional continuity. The aim was not to recreate a specific moment, but to translate a remembered state — calm, warmth, and human closeness — into a composed and timeless image. This work reflects an interest in preserving internal stability through memory, independent of external circumstances.
