“Docked in Silence” was born from my love for tranquil seaside moments—when boats rest after a long day, and golden light dances on the water. This scene, while full of life, is also still and contemplative. This painting is a sensory memory: the salt in the air, the chatter of fishermen, the shimmer of light across the surface. I painted it with emotion and energy, layering oils to bring depth and movement to the water and structure to the boats. It’s a scene that speaks of presence, of stories untold, and of the peaceful power of the sea. I invite the viewer to feel that stillness and warmth.
